When I started this course I wanted my work to reflect the history of the United States of America that is not often spoken about or taught in schools that is prevalent in our country today. I want the viewer to understand what part of history I’m referring to and why it is important to acknowledge the topics such as the justice system, BLM riots, and oppression.
