Going along with the #MAMBAmentality, I decided to paint the top half of this project is the Lakers colors purple and gold with a basketball in the background. Although I messed Up a bit by covering the letter with the basketball line, the ball as a background was used to bring more attention to the sport that Kobe Bryant played. The bottom half is a kid on a basketball court with Kobe’s jersey on. The intention of the bottom half was to portray the impact the death of Kobe Bryant had on younger players.
