When I began brainstorming, I decided to come up with different ideas related to the appreciation of a strong black woman. The media portrays black women as either angry or not successful. In this sketch, I drew a woman with an Afro with a crown symbolizing that a black woman is a Queen. In her hair, their would have been different words to describe the role she plays in the world. #blackgirlmagic
