I know that adding the American flag to the background of this dream catcher was a great idea. I want it to symbolize that the American dream isn’t including everyone. For years, American government has disenfranchised Native Americans and they are always viewed as inferior. When people talk about immigrants coming to America for the American dream, in my eyes it is a fairy tale. Everyone can want a family, a nice house, a nice car, and a good job. But based on American history, anyone who is not white (superior), is inferior to the rest of the country.
